Arizona's government retirement pensions are billions of dollars underfunded, leaving taxpayers with liabilities that could cause a severe financial crisis. The Responsible Budgets initiative ensures annual public disclosure of government retirement pensions funding, so the politicians cannot hide the pension debt, limits government growth to inflation plus population growth, until the government pensions are adequately funded, and ends pensions for politicians, as a first step to find the savings needed to fix the government pension problem. The Responsible Budgets initiative will ensure Arizona addresses its pension problem before we face a Detroit-style financial crisis.

The labeling must be done in a way that a regular consumer can see and read clearly. Consumers currently have the right to know what ingredients are in their food so those with allergies can avoid certain ingredients. This initiative gives Arizona citizens the ability to avoid Genetically Engineered ingredients if they choose.

A Secure Arizona and Mexico Border is needed to defend the long-term interests of the citizens living in the State of Arizona. Operating with limited resources, the first practical step is to develop a biometric identification software solution to effectively regulate current and future ports of entry. This improved entry and exit software solution will evolve to allow temporary residents and new citizens an easy way to enter the US banking and employment verification systems. Securing the Arizona Border Act will create a stronger border with modern technology solutions in order to secure long-term peace for the citizens of Arizona.

Arizona law places limits on the amount of bonded indebtedness that a school district or unified school district may incure as a percentage of taxable property within a school district or unified school district. HB 2003 amends A.R.S. 15-1021 to double the class B bonding capacity limits of school districts from five percent to ten percent and of unified school districts from ten percent to twenty percent. HB 2003 will increase property taxes in school districts and unified school districts that incur additional debt as a result of this measure. Committee to Recall "Not So Bright" Senator McCain 21056 North 34th Drive Phoenix, AZ 85007 623-329-0284 Leonard A. Clark, Applicant & Chairman |
|||||
This Latest McCarthy Style remark/temper tantrum Laced with the racist: "not so bright" smearing/misogynistic remark against a good public servant, Susan Rice U..N. ambassador for the United States is finally the culminating act of malfeasance for Arizona senator John McCain. His hate for this president has grown so large that he cannot govern logically or effectively anymore. Although we thank him (even though he voted against the New G.I. Bill for our veterans) as we thank all of our veterans for their brave and courageous service that does not mean he should once again get a pass for reducing our beloved state of Arizona to a laughing stock as his fellow extremist friend Jan Brewer has done. John McCain should not and will not be allowed to join S.C. Senator Lindsey Graham in taking our state into this new confederate alliance of McCarthyist/racist hate. Our state of Arizona will not be in the words of Abraham Lincoln: "A State Out of the Union" anymore ! Please send a powerful symbolic message and sign our petition to let the world know that John McCain's hate does not represent us or our beloved Arizona. Thank you. |

Following attacks on students, LGBTQ individuals, and attempts to thwart legitimate recall efforts, we have found it necessary to begin recall efforts against State Representative John Kavanagh. In an unprecedented waste of taxpayer money, Representative Kavanagh has advocated for legislation that is discriminatory, unnecessary, and leaving the state open to costly lawsuits. Representative John Kavanagh presents himself as an advocate for small government, while actually attempting to expand the reach of government into Arizonan's personal lives. Representative John Kavanagh has spent his time in office unconstitutionally attacking specific groups such as students rather than fulfilling his campaign promises to limit government and use taxpayer's money effectively.

When Kyrsten Sinema was elected to the US House from Arizona's 9th Congressional District, she took an oath of office which states: "I do solemnly swear / affirm that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God." We, the undersigned, assert that Kyrsten Sinema has broken her oath. On July 24th, 2013, the US called a vote (number 412) where she chose NOT to stand with 205 other US House members in placing a limit on government snooping. Kyrsten Sinema chose to reject limits on NSA data collection. In doing this, she supports a "Big Brother" government with no limits. We call on our fellow Arizona residents to support the recall of Kyrsten Sinema. FreedomCaucus24.org/NSARecall | 602 492 4201 |

RC-06-2014 | Recall Kimberly Yee | 201400534 | April 4, 2014 | August 2, 2014 | 18,297 |
Arizona Veterans Assistance Committee (AVAC) 13201 N. 35th Ave., Suite B-10 Phoenix, AZ 85029 480-619-0302 Thomas W. Dean, Applicant Marc J. Victor, Chairman |
|||||
One of the most devastating results of the trauma of combat is PTSD, an emotional condition that takes a terrible toll on our nation's war veterans. In response to the medical profession's pleas for PTSD research, the federal government recently approved a proposed study by the University of Arizona that seeks to examine the effectiveness of medical marijuana for the treatment of veterans suffering from PTSD. Following federal approval, the Arizona House of Representatives recently passed HB233 to fund the study without spending a dime of taxpayer money, using funds already collected from the sale of medical marijuana cards. The bill was promptly sent over to the Senate Education Committee for consideration. Tragically, the chair of that committee, Kimberly Yee, officially announced that she will not allow the bill to reach the Senate floor; thereby singlehandedly killing this important veteran's health research. In one fell swoop, Yee has derailed the democratic process, thwarted important medical research, and slapped our nation's veterans in the face. This callous abuse of power is proof that Yee is unfit for public office. The Arizona Veterans Assistance Commitee, therefore, intends to circulate and submit a petition for her recall from the Senate.
